I think I agree in part, but from the other way around. I was thinking about removing both bc and ic. The main reason is that they don't map well to the visual editor. And then since commands also doesn't map well to the visual editor, removing it makes sense then.

Oh, one thing that was making me think that commands has reasons to stay: style it differently from source code... But that can also be managed from <syntaxhighlight> I believe.
