I think I agree in part, but from the other way around. I was thinking about removing both <tt>bc</tt> and <tt>ic</tt>. The main reason is that they don't map well to the visual editor. And then since <tt>commands</tt> also doesn't map well to the visual editor, removing it makes sense then.

Oh, one thing that was making me think that <tt>commands</tt> has reasons to stay: style it differently from source code... But that can also be managed from <code><nowiki><syntaxhighlight></nowiki></code> I believe.

:I agree; the only reason for this template to exist imo would be if we injected the terminal prompt symbols ourselves, otherwise {{template link|code}}, {{template link|bc}} or simply <code><nowiki><syntaxhighlight</nowiki></code> should do.
