This template can be used to propose the merging of two or more different articles. Doing so allows the rest of the editors to weigh in on the merge proposal, backing it up, or bringing arguments for why the articles are sufficiently different. This template also generates a list of merge proposals.

Usage

Simply include the template, alongside with the name of the page that the page should be merged with. The notice above can be reproduced like so:

You can also specify the scope and the reason of the notice:

{{merge|scope=template|reason=This is because they're basically the same.|Template:Disambiguation}}
