To do so, enable {{nixos:option\|virtualisation.docker.rootless}}. This activates the user-level systemd Docker service. Additionally, the option {{nixos:option\|virtualisation.docker.rootless.setSocketVariable\|setSocketVariable}} configures the <code>DOCKER_HOST</code> environment variable to point to the rootless Docker instance.
