The menu has now been rearranged, as discussed on the github issue. The next steps:
I've submitted a content change to fix localization page's display errors by repositioning the translation tags. This will prevent the existing display error because translator is unfamiliar to wiki syntax.

# write up the category pages under resources in a standardized way
Please backup any exsiting translations to prevent reworking, as some old tags will be removed and the new will be added.
# add a bunch of links to articles we wanna have but don't have (getting started guides for everything, for example)
# flesh out the Contributing to the Wiki page and Main Page to be more welcoming and clear

After this is done, it should be very easy for people to contribute.
Meanwhile, it would be great if an official maintainer could post a finalized official notice.

Theme
I think it would be great to use some non-standard theme, to differentiate the wiki and make it our own.

I have been looking into bootstrap themes that are being maintained and found Chameleon.

Favicon
The favicon seems to have a black background on my machine, which makes it look quite terrible. This can be solved by using the same one nixos.org uses. We might also considering making our favicon a bit different, it can be nice for those of us who like their bookmark bars filled with distinct icons and no text.

I believe this has been fixed with yesterday. We now link to a png version <syntaxhighlight lang="html"><link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.png"/></syntaxhighlight> --Fadenb (talk) 12:04, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

Heads-up: Translation tag changes & please back up your work

I've submitted a content change to fix localization page's display errors by repositioning the translation tags. This will prevent the existing display error because translator is unfamiliar to wiki syntax.

Please backup any exsiting translations to prevent reworking, as some old tags will be removed and the new will be added.

Meanwhile, it would be great if an official maintainer could post a finalized official notice.

Anyone thinks this work is bad or unnecessary, you can undo my change. Ardenet (talk) 19:54, 7 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
