I made this template because some pages (like [[ALSA]]) were using the [[Template:Outdated|Outdated]] template to mark a section that needs reformatting. This template also links directly to the MoS for ease of access.

Thus, I wanted to check if it'd be okay to edit the MoS to specify that this template can be used if an editor notices a page that "breaks" the style. [[User:DoggoBit|DoggoBit]] ([[User talk:DoggoBit|talk]]) 16:30, 5 June 2025 (UTC)

There are a few sections (linking, lists, etc.) which could be significantly more useful as a [[Help:Syntax]] reference page. Similar to how templates are expanded upon in [[Help:Templates]], keeping things short in the MoS. In general, the common pattern across wikis is to keep internal policy documents and project-wide efforts in the <code>Project:</code> special namespace (which in our case is <code>NixOS Wiki:</code>). Another use for this namespace are copyright policies, user conducts, etc., as well as wikiprojects (wiki-wide efforts around a common theme; e.g.: [[NixOS Wiki:Popular boards]])
