::It seems like the opinion is that one should not contribute to both wikis, and the reasoning can be applied and modified later, which suggests to me that either the incentive is either not rational, or not directly honest. If I am to speculate, I believe that the desire is to let the unofficial wiki gradually deprecate into oblivion, so that it can be declared dead. And if we can encourage or incentivize that to happen sooner rather than later, that is a good thing. I believe this is based on wishful thinking and not an actual assessment of the negative impact on the availability of Nix documentation to the wider ecosystem.
