Getting startedd Its important to mention Home Manager and Flakes on the landing page - but its also important to guide people to ignore them for a while (its difficult to grok all the concepts at once, many fail while trying to grasp NixOS, most used advice on reddit and co is: „you need to start with flakes and home manager“

This is the official NixOS Wiki. It includes topics not covered in the NixOS Manual: NixOS user guides, configuration examples, and troubleshooting tips.

NixOS is a Linux operating system based on the Nix package manager and the Nixpkgs package repository.
